Lyle Thorngage is a tall built halfling male with straight smooth black hair and whose body shows several scars from the battles over the years with gnomes. A small scar over his left eye has never healed when he was a young boy and his settlement was attacked by gnomes. A scar across his back was caused from an arrow that hit him while he was scouting for treasure. His cold black eyes can see the slightest detail from near or far.
Lyle normally wears his leather armor and his grey/green tunic as he enters the wilderness in the search of treasure. His tunic allows him to blend into the wilderness as he tries to avoid conflict through stealth. He keeps his rapier close to him though in cause his stealth fails him and he is forced into a conflict.
Lyle is carefree and seeks out adventure and treasure for his personal gain but he is careful when entering a conflict studying all his options prior to entering any conflict.
Lyle past is shrouded in mystery. He rarely speaks of it and people rarely ask about him. What is known that his mother, Cora, was killed by gnome raiders while they were attacking his settlement. Lyle received the scar above his eye during this attack, but he was too young to help his father defend the settlement. Lyle blamed his father for his mother death and would continually fight with him. As time past on, the fighting between them grew until his father disowned him at the age of 17. Lyle left and for the past 13 years have lived on his own.
Lyle seeks out treasure for his own benefit. He is free spirited and loathes the restrictions put in place by his family and society and is one of the reasons why he left and become an adventurer. He does not fear battle but will not rush into battle. He calculates all his moves prior to making it and has learned from his past mistakes or rushing into battle and has the scars to prove it. He rarely helps others unless it has some benefit to him. He will defend his friends to the death but he rarely makes any.
